2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, company name, and message content — collected when you voluntarily submit the contact form.
- Analytics data (with consent): anonymised usage data collected via Google Analytics 4, including pages visited, time on site, browser type, and approximate geographic region. Google Analytics is only loaded after you explicitly accept cookies.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
- Contact form data: Processed on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).
- Analytics cookies: Processed solely on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or declining cookies on your next visit.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To respond to your enquiries and provide requested consulting services.
- To understand how visitors use our website and improve the user experience (analytics, consent only).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
- Formspree (formspree.io) — processes contact form submissions. Your message is transmitted to their servers for delivery. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics 4 — activated only after you accept cookies. Google may process anonymised data in the USA under standard contractual clauses. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google servers. Google may log your IP address. See Google Fonts Privacy FAQ.
6. Cookies
We use the following cookies / browser storage:
- cookieConsent (localStorage, no expiry) — stores your cookie preference (accepted / declined). Not a tracking cookie.
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, _gid) — set only if you accept analytics cookies. Used to distinguish users and sessions. Expire after 2 years / 24 hours respectively.
You can revoke analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or by declining cookies on your next visit.
7. Data Retention
Contact form messages are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and for any follow-up correspondence, and are deleted when no longer needed. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months (our account setting).
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction of processing.
- Data portability.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
